  Pembrokeshire – Narberth

Narberth is a bustling and attractive town set in the rural heart of Pembrokeshire, with a reputation for providing interesting shops, excellent food and a warm welcome to visitors and residents alike.

The Queen’s Hall is the focal point for the community in terms of concerts, drama, music of a wide variety, art exhibitions and conferences, whilst sport is well catered for in terms of karate, tai-chi, kung-fu and kick-boxing. Rugby, football, cricket and a number of other sports like rifle-shooting form an integral part of the town’s life-blood.

Narberth has earned a reputation as an excellent shopping centre providing a wide range of goods such as arts and crafts, antiques, clothes, shoes, jewellery, etc.

Small supermarkets, pubs, cafes, restaurants, health shops, newsagents and estate agents can also be found in the Main Street, with FBM occupying a prominent position and providing an excellent service.

Church-goers are catered for at St Andrew’s Church, Bethesda Chapel, Narberth Baptist Fellowship and Kings Christian Fellowship, with the Women’s Institute and the WI Country Market as other meeting places alongside activities like the Pembrokeshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, Life Drawing Classes and the Embroiderers’ Guild in the town.

Herons Brook is a busy animal park and golf course, which caters for all ages, and there are also a number of places to visit around Narberth, one of the nearest being Oakwood at Canaston Bridge, and Folly Farm in Begelly. Add Clerkenhill Adventure Farm, the Dunes Riding Centre, West Atheston Course Fishing and Cwm Deri Vineyard and it is easy to see why Narberth has become such a busy place!
